I'd Take Him On A Teddy Bear Picnic. Wouldn't You?

I finally finished the teddy bear that I have been knitting for the last two months.  He was made using a pattern from the book Itty-Bitty Toys by Susan B. Anderson.  I think that he is super duper squishable and extra huggable.  What do you think?

How cute is this? How did you get the face so perfect? How adorable!

Thanks! You wouldn't believe how many times I had to rip it out and try again before I was happy with it.

He is ADORABLE! I'm working on the monkey from that book now! What size needles did you use with your Homespun?

So perfect! Nice to know someone rips too! :)

Oh yeah. I am pretty new to knitting toys and I absolutely never get the face right on the first try. I am also somewhat of a perfectionist which make it even worse. Glad you liked him :)

I used size 8 double points. So it made him quite a bit larger than he was supposed to be, but it's a good, cuddly size. I'd love to see a picture of your monkey when you finish him. I couldn't decide between the monkey and the bear, but I went with the bear.
